Many times we grow up with trauma and difficulties, and this causes us to not love ourselves, care for ourselves, enjoy ourselves, and see the worth and the value that God has intended for us. This is high-jacking our relationships because if we cannot see our worth, and if we cannot love ourselves (I am not talking about selfish love), then we will not be able to love those around us. Here we are going to talk about self – the importance of seeing yourself through the eyes of God.
The Word of God says: “You must love your neighbor as yourself”. If you do not love yourself, how can you love your neighbor? We as humans go through many difficulties in life since conception that influence us and cause us not to love ourselves, or even reject ourselves. Exactly what are the results of this… let’s find out by looking deep into ourselves and getting to the root of this, we can go on a journey of healing. Look at yourself with different eyes and from this knowledge stand in a relationship with yourself so that you can truly love your neighbor and live out the most important assignment with peace in your heart to the glory of God and His Kingdom. You can even add value in a dark world full of pain, and suffering. Win souls for the Kingdom so that the light of Jesus can shine and bring healing to the nations around us.
Here we will analyze the self with a sincere, honest, and serious outlook without elevating ‘the self’ as its own god, but as someone with value created by a loving God who only has the best for you, your wants to help you realize your value and then the salvation plan will be understood so much more and you will accept yourself and love yourself as God has you, this will bring healing in your spirit person, your soul person, and flesh person and then you can be preserved until on the day of Jesus’ return according to 1 Thessalonians 5:23 – Praise the Lord!!!
